Before the tour begins, please ensure you have confirmed your booking and provided us with your exact pickup details and Valid ID/Passport and travel insurance. We also recommend being well-rested, as the tour involves early morning treks to catch the sunrise.

What should I bring during the tour?

We highly recommend bringing warm clothing (a thick jacket, beanie, gloves) for the cold temperatures at Bromo and Ijen. Also, pack comfortable trekking shoes, a small backpack, a personal camera, sunscreen, and sandals or waterproof shoes for the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.

What is the difficulty level of the Ijen crater hike?

The Ijen crater hike is of moderate difficulty. It involves a 3-kilometer trek uphill on a well-defined path, which typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Some sections can be steep, but it is manageable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness.

What is the difficulty level of the Mount Bromo hike?

The Mount Bromo trek is considered easy. A 4WD Jeep will take you to the main viewpoint and then to the 'Sea of Sand' parking area. From there, it's a relatively flat walk followed by a climb up a staircase of about 250 steps to the crater rim.

After arriving at hotel in Bondowoso, take some time to relax and settle in. Enjoy a delicious dinner and rest up for the next day’s adventure.

Your day starts early at midnight with a drive to Paltuding, the base of Ijen Crater. After about 1.5 hours on the road, you’ll begin your 1-1.5 hour trek to the crater rim. Upon reaching the rim, you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking sight of the 200-meter deep turquoise sulfuric lake, set against a dramatic volcanic landscape. Witness the extraordinary work of sulfur miners who carry heavy loads through hazardous terrain and toxic fumes. After enjoying the sunrise at Ijen Crater, we stop at the Malabar Coffee Plantation for a refreshing coffee break and snacks. Then, we return to your hotel in Bondowoso for a shower and check-out before heading to the next destination. In the afternoon, we journey to Jember City, where you’ll check in at Doho Homestay. After a brief rest, we set off for Papuma Beach, a one-hour drive away. Be mesmerized by the stunning sunset views over the sea, offering the perfect end to a day filled with natural wonders.
